I should have known that i would fall in love with you .

From the moment those dark , beautiful orbs met mine , i should have known without a doubt .

The first time i saw those soft lips form into an earth-shattering smile , i should have ran away . But no , you drew me to you .

And the first time i heard you speak , your voice like a soothing brook over my senses ?
I was amazed , I still am .

I can still remember the first time we touched .
The way our hands accidentally brushed and mine tingled , totally aware of you .

I can still remember the first time pain flashed through your eyes because of my words .
I remember the recoil and the icy way you shut me out .
I can't remember ever feeling more sorry .

I remember the way i first fumbled over an apology .
The way you listened as i tried to find the right words ,
Then smiled and told me it was alright .

I recall you calming me .
Brushing away the first tear that i cried for you . For joy .

I have a memory of you laughing at me , the first time i had difficulty with something
And swore at the top of my lungs , not knowing you were there .

I remember the first uncurling of passion i felt with you , knowing you accepted me for
Who i am , not who you thought i should be .

I recall the first time you did something thoughtful and loving ,
The way i marveled at your selflessness .

I remember the first time i shook with shock , pain and anger .
The fear that i might loose you in some way .

I have never forgotten the first time i swayed to you , a simple moment slacking in the library , But i felt my heart soar at the thought of loving you .

I'll always remember the first time you said those three words that broke me
And how i repeated them back to you hoping you would look in my eyes and find the truth .

I remember our triumphs and losses . :D

The way we laughed at one another . The way we protected one another .
The way we fought the world for all the happiness we had .
The embarrassment , the adoration the jealousy
Ad the times when life was just too cruel .
