I was reading this article yesterday, and i find it super ridiculous!

Sharing them with you, and im sure you girls will go around the house in fumes!

This was how girls were expected to treat their husbands when they

come home from work. Fortunately, long long ago in 1955. Bold words are extracted from the article while slanted words are my own comments.

The Good Wife's Guide:

- Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready, on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal

(especially his favourite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed.

Okay, this is reasonable.

- Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your makeup, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.

CRAZY!! Putting a ribbon on my hair will make me look retarded.

- Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

As if the husband had done anything to brighten my boring day of housework, why should we brighten his boring day instead? Im sure a day out of house at work is far more interesting than staying at home rotting beside the broom.

- Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives.

Get a maid instead of a wife to do this, please.

- Gather up schoolbooks, toys, paper etc and then run a dustcloth over the tables.

It's none of my problem to pick up other people's thing. I hate doing housework.

- Over the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering for his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

- Prepare the children. Take afew minutes to wash the children's hands and faces (if they are small), comb their hair and, if necessary, change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to see them playing the part. Minimise all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet.

I'll whine and talk and make as much noise as i can :)

- Be happy to see him.

Only if he's happy to see me.

- Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.

- Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

WHAT. my topics not important? his topics might be all about stupid things like golf and numbers.

- Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner, or other places of entertainment without you. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure and his very real need to be at home and relax.

Okay, if guys have the excuse to play outside because "his world is strained and pressured", then i dont see why i can't go out and play because "housework is boring and it's giving me headaches."

- Your goal: Try to make sure your home is a place of peace, order and tranquillity where you husband can renew himselfs in body and spirit.

- Dont greet him with complaints and problems.

if he doesn't complain to me too.

- Dont complain if he's late home for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through the day.

Okay, he shouldn't complain if i spend $xxxx on a bag too. It's minor compared to how much he spends on a car :D

- Make him comfortable, Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

- Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.

Ask him not to raise his voice at me too then.

- Dont ask him questions about his actions or question his judgement or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always excercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.

A wife has every right to know something that she wants to know about her own husband.

- A good wife always know her place.

WTF???!!!

Im so glad that im born in 1995 and not 1955.

Yesterday -

can you guys belief that , i went out at 8 plus in the morning ? can can ?

Yes , i went out .. than wait for limin ! when she's here , me and her went to meet her friend .

Than , went to riverside sec's open house (:

After that , we went to causeway point (: had our lunch .

Than , went to jurong point there lor . Hehehehe (: it took us 30min there (: fast eh ?

Went to causewaypoint .

I spotted Weilin . Muahaha , i tail-ed her .

Guess what ? she's not alone ! Not with her bestfriend !

There was a blonde who found herself sitting next to a Lawyer on an airplane.

The lawyer just kept bugging the blonde wanting her to play a game of intelligence.

Finally, the lawyer offered her 10 to 1 odds,

and said every time the blonde could not answer one of his questions,

she owed him $5, but every time he could not answer hers,

he'd give her $50.00.

The lawyer figured he could not lose,

and the blonde reluctantly accepted. The lawyer first asked,

"What is the distance between the Earth and the nearest star?"

Without saying a word the blonde handed him $5.

then the blonde asked,

"What goes up a hill with 3 legs and comes back down the hill with 4 legs?"

Well, the lawyer looked puzzled.

He took several hours, looking up everything he could on his laptop and

Finally, angry and frustrated, he gave up and paid the blonde $50.00

The blonde put the $50 into her purse without comment, but the lawyer insisted,

Went to Dian Xiao Er to eat instead of Sakae ! thanks to my mum !

Went out with esther (:

It has been quite a long time since we met (:

We went to junction8 in stead of jurong point because,

It was said that part of the shopping centre is having renovation ...

Esther bought herself a watch ! hahas , well , she buy the pink one !

she very good girl huh ? i choose the watch for her one leyys !

i went to minitoons and buy the sour squeeze (:

after that , we went to the cinema right ? hmm ... yes yes !

we bought the ticket for The Game Plan (:

than we decided to grab some bites ! we go all the way down !

we decided to have long johns luhs , than we found seat easily !

well , after we had our so called 'LUNCH' , as we walk ,

well , we went to buy lots and lots of sweets ! than ,

we watch our show!
